✦ General Duty (GD)
- Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized university.
- Must have studied Mathematics and Physics at 10+2 level (Intermediate/Class XII).
- Candidates who completed graduation after diploma are eligible, provided their diploma included Mathematics and Physics.
✦ Technical (Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics)
- Engineering Degree in any of the following streams:
- Mechanical, Marine, Automotive, Mechatronics, Industrial & Production, Naval Architecture, Metallurgy, Design, Aeronautical, Aerospace for Mechanical/Engg posts.
- Electrical, Electronics, Telecommunication, Instrumentation, Power Engineering, Electronics & Communication for Electrical posts.
- Candidates must have studied Mathematics and Physics at 10+2 level.
- Engineering qualifications must be recognized by the Institute of Engineers (India) or equivalent.
