Age Limit

  • The age should not be more than 39 years. The upper age limit may be relaxed for the candidates belonging to SC, ST, & other Backward Classes as per Government Rules or Orders issued from time to time.

Eligibility

  • +2, Diploma
  • The candidate should have passed Higher Secondary Examination (10+2) from WBCHSE/ its equivalent exam (10+2) with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/ Biology
  • Two Years Diploma Course in Pharmacy recognized by the Government of West Bengal/ Bachelor Degree in Pharmacy recognized by the Government of West Bengal.

Selection Process

  • Distribution pattern of marks or the post of Pharmacist, Grade III:
  • Higher Secondary (10+2) or its equivalent examinations in Science subjects [Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/ Biology] – 25 (Max.)
  • b) Two years Diploma/ Bachelor Degree in Pharmacist recognized by GoW.B. – 50 (Max.)
  • c) Experience in State Govt. service (Permanent/ Contractual) – 2 marks/ year 10(Max.) [Maximum last 5 years’ tenure of experience will be taken into account]
  • Interview – 15 (Max)
